Hi Nigel

i cannot see a relevant section that refers to the missing file. 88.2 runs
with the milter but this was an rpm install via yum.
i have tested sendmail for milter support

[root@proteus2 admin]# /usr/sbin/sendmail -d0 < /dev/null | fgrep MILTER
MATCHGECOS MILTER MIME7TO8 MIME8TO7 NAMED_BIND NETINET
NETINET6
[root@proteus2 admin]#

which i knew it had but don't see a section relevant to my problem.
