Putting a link to /usr/lib/libidn.so.11.5.16 didn't work either. Finally, in desperation, I did ln -s /usr/lib64/libidn.so.11.5.16 /usr/lib/libidn.so and it compiles and works if you get this email. Is there a bug in the configure?
